On 10th September 2009 Caparo Forging: Europe hosted an open day for over 90 of its customers and other distinguished guests at their plant in Barlinek, Poland. The Caparo T1 was showcased alongside Caparo Forging: Europe’s wide ranging products, capabilities and accreditations. Visitors were also able to meet key Caparo personnel as well as participate in a guided tour through the Caparo Forging: Bomet factory.
The event organised by Caparo Forging: Europe, the sales and marketing organisation dedicated to Caparo’s forging customers in Europe, aimed to promote the business’ growing international reach and range of capabilities. “With our combined resources and global positioning, we are certainly one of the strongest players in the market today”, said Keith Newton, Commercial Director at Caparo Forging: Europe. “To complement this, we also have an outstanding team, years of experience, in-depth customer knowledge and first class manufacturing standards. That is why our guests were more than impressed with their visit to our Polish forging plant”.
Chris Hammond, Managing Director of Caparo Forging: Europe added: “The Caparo Forging: Europe and Caparo Forging: Bomet team were available on the day to answer any questions, and discuss in detail customers’ individual requirements, which made the event even more successful.”
The open day commenced at 11.30am and included a welcome from Angad Paul, CEO of the Caparo Group, a presentation by Chris Hammond, a guided tour of the factory, an informal discussions session, as well as an opportunity to see the Caparo T1 and enjoy a tour through the city of Barlinek.
